1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order or contact us, you give us your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the items you order, and any messages you send us by email, phone, or text message. If you create a customer account or sign up for our emails, you give us your email address and any other details you choose to add.
Photos you send us. If you tell us that an item arrived damaged, defective, or wrong, or that something is missing, we ask you to send photos of the item and its packaging. Please do not include other people, ID documents, or other sensitive information in these photos.
Payment information. You pay through our checkout, which Shopify hosts. Your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number or your payment account password. We receive limited payment details, such as your name, billing address, the amount paid, and whether the payment went through.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, Shopify, the platform that hosts our store, automatically collects information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the website that sent you to us, and how you use the Site (for example, items you add to your cart). Shopify uses cookies and similar technologies to do this, to keep the store and checkout working, and to give us basic store reports.
Information from others. We receive information about your order from Shopify, from our payment provider (for example, payment status and fraud checks), and from CJdropshipping and shipping carriers (for example, tracking numbers and delivery status).
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- process, prepare, ship, and deliver your order, including orders that arrive in more than one package;
- send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and tracking information, and tell you if your order is delayed;
- answer your questions and handle damage claims, replacements, returns, refunds, and cancellations;
- detect and prevent fraud and protect our customers and our business;
- understand how the Site is used and improve it, using the basic reports Shopify provides;
- send you marketing emails, but only if you signed up for them (you can unsubscribe at any time); and
- keep records and comply with tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the ways described below, and only as needed for the purposes listed in Section 2:
- Shopify (store platform and checkout): hosts the Site and checkout, stores your order and account information for us, and sends our order and shipping emails.
- Payment provider: the provider named in Section 1 processes your payment.
- CJdropshipping (order processing and fulfillment): receives the details it needs to prepare and ship your order, such as your name, shipping address, phone number, and the items you ordered. CJdropshipping's app, which we connect to our store, can view the customer and order information stored there. Our faux olive trees and willow baskets ship from a US warehouse. If you report a problem with an item, we may share your order details and your photos with CJdropshipping so the issue can be resolved with the supplier. If you return an item, we share the details needed to give you a return address and process your return.
- Shipping carriers: receive your name, shipping address, and phone number to deliver your package and provide tracking.
- Zoho Mail (email): hosts our email accounts, including support@nomogap.com. The emails you send us and our replies are stored there.
- Phone service provider: handles calls and text messages to our support number.
- Legal and safety reasons: we may share information when the law, a court order, or a government request requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our customers, or others, including to prevent fraud.
- Business transfers: if our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Shopify and our payment provider may also use some of your information under their own privacy policies, for example to keep checkout secure and prevent fraud.
Third-party analytics and advertising. As of the date at the top of this policy, we have not installed any third-party advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel) or third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) on the Site, and we do not share your information with advertising networks.
4. Where your information is processed
NOMOGAP is operated from Vietnam. The people who run our store access your information from Vietnam to process orders and answer your messages. Your information may also be stored and processed in the United States; in China, where CJdropshipping is based; and in other countries where Shopify, our payment provider, CJdropshipping, Zoho Mail, and our other service providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
5. Cookies and "Do Not Track"
Cookies are small files that your browser stores. Shopify uses them on the Site to keep the store working (for example, to remember your cart and complete checkout) and to produce basic store reports for us. Our payment provider may also use cookies when you pay. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.
Some web browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
We have not added any third-party advertising or analytics tools that collect information about your activity on the Site and across other websites over time (see Section 3). Shopify and our payment provider may still collect information about your device and activity when you use the Site and checkout, as described in Sections 1 and 3.
6. How long we keep information
We keep order information for as long as we need it to fulfill your order and to handle damage claims, returns, refunds, and payment disputes, and to meet tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping requirements. We keep support messages and photos for as long as we need them to resolve your request and any related dispute. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. For example, we use established service providers, and only the people who need your information to run the store can access it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@nomogap.com. We will verify your request, usually by matching details from your order and the email address you used, and respond as required by applicable law. We may need to keep some information, such as order and tax records, when the law requires it or to finish an open order, refund, or dispute.
Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing us. We will still send you messages about your orders.
Cookies. See Section 5.
Additional rights in some US states. Depending on the state you live in, your state's privacy law may give you additional rights. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to get a copy of it, to correct or delete it, to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. As explained in Section 3, we do not sell your personal information for money and we do not use third-party advertising pixels. To make a request, email support@nomogap.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which state you live in. We do not charge for privacy requests.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order (see our Terms of Service). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Before we add any new tool that collects personal information from visitors to the Site, such as an advertising pixel or an analytics tool, we will name it in Section 3 and update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice on the Site.
